Our main focus is to provide Guillain-Barre Syndrome Foundation of Canada Inc. (GBSFCI) with funds. There was never a Canadian based GBSFCI until 2005, which is why in the past we have donated to Dr. Angelika Hahn of London University Hospital, Ontario, Canada for medical research. We now want to support and help fund the GBSFCI to raise awareness and benefit those who are afflicted it GBS.  Since 2004 the FSPF also offers two postsecondary scholarships yearly in the amount of $2,500.00 to one student attending L'Ecole Secondaire l'Escale and one student attending the Rockland District High School (RDHS). See Scholarship page for more details. The organizing committee and Serge want to distribute more Scholarships in the years to come although we presently want to give back to the Rockland community because most of our annual golfers/supporters come from Rockland. This is a way for us to give back to the Rockland community. The FSPF has also supported "The Canada Cares Tour" since 2000. The funds donated to the "The Canada Cares Tour" are used to support Joannie Cowie for her Tour across Canada. Joannie is a victim of Guillain-Barre Syndrome and tours across Canada in a wheelchair. Her goal is to help implement programs and services that raise awareness and hope for individuals and families with disabilities who are suffering from life-threatening illness.
