I’m back and we’re already into September and we’re four games into our regular season while NHL camps are just beginning. Wow, what a change, a good one. I truly enjoyed my experience in professional hockey playing in North America for 8 years, I truly did. They’re were many ups and downs but for the most part I’m proud and at ease experiencing the Europe style of the game. Playing in Germany is a lot of fun. When I first flew in, I must admit, for a week or so life in general was a challenge to adapt but like anything in life, nothing comes easy and we has human beings can adapt, it’s all in our head. This is a good change pace. People are friendly, passionate about hockey, and driven to be part of a winning organization. The Krefeld Pinguines organization and fans are wanting to win. We are off to a good start to our regular season with a 3-1 record.
Attached are a few pictures of some teammates and I during training camp during the month of August in Fussen, Germany (South Germany). We visited King Ludwig Castle and the beautiful mountainside sceneries.

Following in early September, I had my first visitor, child hood and life long best friend Eric Bedard flew from Ottawa. Alain Boudreau from Ottawa, Canada-Paris, France also joined us for the weekend. We took advantage of the opportunities and visited some great websites; below you’ll see pictures and web site links of:
